Floor Manager / Assistant Sales Manager
Starling Chevrolet is seeking a results-driven Floor Manager / Assistant Sales Manager to support daily showroom operations, drive sales performance, and help lead a high-performing team. This role is hands-on and focused on desking deals, closing customers, and developing sales consultants.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers and sales consultants to close deals on the showroom floor
- Desk deals and structure transactions to maximize profitability
- Train, coach, and mentor sales staff to improve performance
- Assist in managing daily sales operations and team productivity
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the buying process
- Collaborate with F&I to finalize deals efficiently
- Handle escalated customer concerns professionally
- Monitor CRM activity and ensure proper follow-up processes are being executed
Qualifications
- Automotive sales experience required; leadership or desking experience preferred
- Proven ability to close deals and meet/exceed sales goals
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Experience with CRM systems and desking tools
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Work Schedule
- Full-time schedule
- Evenings and weekends required
