Operations Director

Operations DirectorThe Operations Director will passionately lead our organization's Operations department. They will ensure all members of the operational leadership team are meeting their goals each month and will manage the communication process ensuring that all leaders and team members are communicating in a thorough and effective manner.Key Responsibilities:Innovation & Strategy:Create a long-term and innovative strategy around the Operations department, its systems, procedures, equipment, and leaders. Research and stay current with the resources offered by Chick-fil-A or used at other stores. Work with store supervisors to determine what should be implemented and purchased.Vision:Ensure the store is always moving forward and working towards the store vision; actively plan and prepare for the store's future in monthly, quarterly, and annual incrementsAccountability:Ensure all Supervisors are completing all tasks in the appropriate time and that their "out of operations time" is monitoredGoals:Ensure all of the store's goals are being met and problem solve to create solutions if they are notDevelopment:Meet weekly with all supervisors to problem solve and strategize to meet store goals; meet monthly one-on-one with supervisors to coach, teach, and develop their skillsReviews:Perform quarterly reviews with your Supervisors accompanied by the Operating Partner; annual performance review to discuss eligibility for a pay increase; work with the Operating Partner to manage the pay raises and promotions of operational leadersMaintenance:Ensure broken equipment is repaired, facilities are damage free and fixed in a timely manner, order necessary parts for the store, and maintain the equipment and repair budgetVendors:Keep track of vendors, pricing, and ensure that they are performing all duties up to standard and in the appropriate time frameDocumentation:Handle any store conflict or discipline issues in regard to operational leaders with HR Director or another 3rd party; document and report properlyPayroll:Ensure time punches are accurate and ready for the Operating Partner to submit each pay periodOperational Time:Assist in the store operations minimum 30 hours/week (scheduled time) may vary spending on needs of the businessSuccess Factors & Matching Measurements:We will know the Operations Director is successful when we see:The above responsibilities completed correctly, consistently and in a timely mannerAn ambassador who shows a high level of engagement with their contribution to the organization's vision and resultsBehavior that embodies the Chick-fil-A culture and treats everyone with honor, dignity, and respectThe Operations department continuing to develop its leaders, maintain a positive culture, and consistently reach the store's goalsThe Store Directors and Managers flourishing in their roles and demonstrating a high level of engagementThe Operations Director should:Focus on systematically and effectively communicating all management related goals and CEM success factorsCombine critical thinking and practical leadership to create a culture of innovation and lead the Operations department to new heights of achievementEnthusiastically and passionately lead the Operations team and support fellow OfficersProfessionally represent our business in a remarkable manner out in the field, on the phone, and through all correspondenceIntentionally build relationships and create enthusiasm with our guests and team through positive interactionsBe able to listen to employee and customer comments and solve any issues with a genuine and gracious manner and work to recover all guests and employeesWork a minimum of thirty hours per week in the restaurant on shift, allocate ten hours per week to planning and meeting timesBenefits:Competitive Pay (40 hours per week)Access to Health InsurancePaid Vacation401k Contributions (after 1 year)Access to Scholarships at $2,500 per yearSundays OffFree MealsPositive Work EnvironmentWork Schedule8 hour shift10 hour shiftWeekend availabilityMonday to FridayHolidaysDay shiftNight shiftOvertimeSupplemental PayBonus payAdditional BenefitsHealth insuranceDental insurancePaid time offFlexible scheduleEmployee discountPaid training401(k) matchingVision insurance
