Quality Engineer

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

At nVent Management Company, the Quality Engineer position offers an outstanding opportunity to be part of a world-class team that guarantees perfect quality in manufacturing. You will partner with motivated production teams to detect and address quality concerns, apply quality control measures rigorously, and improve manufacturing processes over time.

  • Develop and apply established quality control procedures and standards for manufacturing processes.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Analyze data and identify trends to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

  • Work closely with production teams to pinpoint and address quality concerns.

  • Train and mentor production staff on quality control procedures and guidelines.

  • Record quality control actions and outcomes accurately.

  • Work with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, or five years equivalent experience, preferred.

  • Proven experience in a quality-related role.

  • Solid understanding of quality control principles and practices.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work optimally in a team environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in quality control software and tools, preferred.

  • Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO) is preferred.
