About This Role
Full-Time Pre-School Educator/Caregiver
7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
What You'll DoPotty-train children and change diapers/pull-ups frequently.
Help guide children to stay on a routine/schedule.
Respond to all the children’s needs so they feel safe and secure.
Keep parents up to date with the Procare app (diapers, feedings, nap times, touches at nap time, activities, any milestones you witness, any supplies children need, etc.)
Create a monthly activity calendar (art projects, age-appropriate activities, read and bubbles, etc.). Review the TN-ELDS curriculum book to include AT LEAST one TN-ELDS lesson plan for each week on the calendar.
Keep the room/bathroom clean and sanitize toys.
Track all classroom/cleaning supplies and restock as needed.
Requirements18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Pass background check (fingerprinting).
CPR and First Aid (must be completed within 90 days of hire date; help given).
Nice To HavesAccess to a computer/laptop or iPad for required DHS trainings.
