Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Job Overview Join our team as a travel Speech‑Language Pathologist supporting skilled nursing care in Jasper, AL. Use your expertise to assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders for residents in a suburban‑rural community. Minimum Requirements Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited educational program. Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) from ASHA, or equivalent clinical experience as required by the facility. Active Alabama SLP license required to begin the assignment. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing or long‑term care settings preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience with dysphagia management, diet modifications, and instrumental assessments such as FEES or modified barium swallow protocols. Familiarity with electronic medical records used in skilled nursing settings. Strong documentation and interdisciplinary communication skills. Assignment Details May split time between two sister skilled nursing facilities located approximately 10 minutes apart if needed. Facility may request resume for substitution purposes.
