Supplier Risk Management Assessor

Our client is a major financial enterprise dedicated to supporting housing markets and promoting sustainable homeownership nationwide. The Supplier Risk Management Assessor will analyze and assess risks related to technology, privacy security, resiliency, and operational aspects, as well as evaluate supplier controls and recommend actionable remediation plans to mitigate risks. This is a full-time, contract position based in McLean, VA, paying $50.00-$54.00 per hour. Responsibilities Analyze and assess risks (including technology, privacy security, resiliency, and operational risks) facing the organization and suppliers Evaluate and document supplier controls, identifying risk findings Recommend and coordinate action plans to decrease risk factors Gather confidential financial information and handle sensitive data appropriately Implement risk-avoiding adjustments to operational methods to minimize future risks Perform research using various sources, including First-person interviews Communicate escalations and findings effectively to management Participate in project management activities to meet deadlines and deliverables Qualifications Experience in risk assessment or audit roles Knowledge of SOC 1 and SOC 2 type II reports and third-party vendor risk management Certifications preferred: CIA, CRISC, CISA, CISM Background in supply chain, compliance risk management, or audit Familiarity with ProcessUnity and related risk management tools Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Proficiency in MS Office and data management What We Offer 401K retirement plan Medical and dental benefits for qualifying professionals Flex spending account Pet Insurance Credit Union Membership Sick Leave where mandated by law Worker Advantage discount program membership Voluntary Supplemental Insurance Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy: Employment Enterprises, Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer.
