Job Overview TKR, an independent, full-service accounting and advisory firm, is seeking a Tax & Assurance Associate to join our rapidly growing organization. Responsibilities As a tax associate, you will provide tax and consulting services such as preparing federal and state tax returns , researching relevant tax issues, and communicating their impact on clients’ businesses. Additional responsibilities include preparing year‑end tax projections and learning to develop and deliver tax planning strategies. As an audit associate, you will provide services related to planning assurance engagements and preparing financial statements , conducting testing procedures, identifying, and assisting in the resolution of client issues , and other financial reporting matters. Basic Qualifications BS or MS in Accounting Solid academic performance and achievement in relevant areas of study Preferred Qualifications Technical accounting knowledge Problem solving and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to work effectively on a team as well as independently Effective time management skills Relevant internship or work experience is helpful, but not required Compensation & Benefits This position offers a competitive salary range of $78,000–$80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
