You thrive on the challenge of transforming vast amounts of structured and unstructured data not just into insights, but into machine learning and artificial Intelligence solutions to solve complex challenges.As a client facing Data Scientist, you’ll work with and guide a small team of analysts, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, Agile environment. You’ll apply your deep knowledge of machine learning and statistical modeling as you lead the design, development, and deployment of predictive models for your clients. You will also work closely with your clients to understand their questions and challenges, and then architect data-driven solutions within their data-rich environments. Not only will you build models to predict future outcomes, but you’ll also advise your client on what these predictions mean and how they can be used to proactively shape mission success.Join us. The world can't wait.You Have:Experience designing, building, or maintaining cloud data environments such as Azure and AWSExperience leading or mentoring technical teams of data analysts, engineers, or developersExperience with data visualization techniques and tools, including Power BI, Tableau or Microsoft Fabric, and Spark or PySpark for data analysisExperience with structured data using tools, including SQL, R, or Python programming languages, data visualization software, and statistical analysisExperience transforming data patterns into predictive insights and deploying data driven solutionsExperience in data validation, feature engineering and preparing complex data sets for machine learningExperience building and automating data pipelines and workflowsKnowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques, including regression, classification and clusteringSecret clearanceBachelor's degreeNice If You Have:Experience developing custom data-driven applications or user interfaces for data input and visualizationExperience with DoD data platforms, including Advana, MCS-COP Foundry, ADE, or similar systemsExperience with agile methodologiesExperience with working on real-time data and streaming applicationsKnowledge of USMC Marine Expeditionary Force mission and structureAbility to develop scripts and programs for converting various types of IoT and sensor data into usable formatsAbility to communicate technical information and recommendations to peers, engineers, and analytic customersTS/SCI clearanceMaster's degreeCertified Analytics Professional (CAP) CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
