Junior QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Learn, develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts under the guidance of senior automation team members.
• Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
• Shift between manual validation and automated testing according to timelines, feature complexity, and team needs.
• Build technical testing knowledge involving automation frameworks, scripting, CI/CD, and quality engineering practices.
• Communicate effectively in a remote environment and maintain an active on-camera presence during expected meetings.

Requirements

• Some prior technical experience in software testing, automation, scripting, development, or a related technical area, or a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or another programming or technology-related field.
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and/or Agile delivery practices.
• Familiarity with test automation concepts and interest in developing automation tool and framework skills.
• Exposure to at least one programming or scripting language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, or C#.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Health IT experience is a plus.
