Certified Surgical Tech CVOR

Schedule

40 hours per week

Evening shifts, consisting of:

• Two (2) 8-hour shifts
• Two (2) 12-hour shifts
• Shifts may occur anytime between 6:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., based on staffing needs
• Weekend rotation distributed equitably among staff members
• Call duties included as part of the contract; distributed equitably among staff members

Assignment Details

Guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Scrub experience required
• 5+ years total CST experience
• 2+ years in cardiac & vascular
• 1 year CVOR experience
• 1 year in a Level I Trauma facility
• Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing
• Certification in BLS
• Proficient in General OR, Thoracic, Vascular, and CVOR procedures (CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement, etc.)
• Familiarity with aseptic technique, crash cart, scrubbing and circulating, and equipment documentation
• Experience with electronic medical record system EPIC

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a sterile field during surgical procedures
• Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure efficiency and safety
• Prepare and organize surgical instruments and supplies
• Document surgical procedures and instrument usage accurately
• Support the surgical team in various capacities, including scrubbing and circulating
