This hospital maintains an organized operating room program with established perioperative workflows designed to support quality anesthesia care delivery across a range of surgical specialties. The facility operates within a structured clinical environment and utilizes EPIC EMR for clinical documentation. Locum tenens CRNA coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

Ithaca offers a range of outdoor pursuits, including hiking, biking, fishing, canoeing, and kayaking, with notable destinations such as Buttermilk Falls State Park, Ithaca Falls Natural Area, and the Cornell Botanic Gardens spanning over 4,000 acres across the area. The city also provides cultural and culinary experiences, including the Ithaca Farmers Market on the shores of Cayuga Lake, a walkable commons area, and access to the Finger Lakes wine region, with Watkins Glen located approximately 45 miles away. Outdoor activities are most accessible in spring, summer, and fall, though winter offers options such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and indoor attractions.

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a supervision model during day shifts at an operating room facility, with shift options of 8 to 12 hours. The surgical case mix includes pediatrics, orthopedics, OB, ENT, and general surgery, serving patients across all age groups. All clinical documentation must be completed using the EPIC EMR system. Call coverage is required on a night and weekend rotation at a ratio of 1:8 to 1:9.
