Respiratory TherapistContract guarantee hours= 72 hours biweekly on all assignments – these guaranteed hours do not include any "on-call" time worked. Comments and notes: Urgent need - ASAP starts Flu required (only medical exemptions are acceptable) -- 12-hour days 7a-7:30p rotating weekends and holidays. This is a smaller, slow paced facility - not a fast paced environment until a triage comes through - at that time you will need to move quickly to triage and send out to the main hospital in Boston.Job Description: Performs assessment, diagnostic testing, prescribed treatment and care of the respiratory therapy patient. Evaluates effectiveness of treatment and maintains department records.Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required: Current MA Respiratory Therapist License; RRT Active AHA BLS Certification required NRP Certification required AHA ACLS preferred. Must be able to draw arterial blood gases.
