Cybersecurity Analyst
DGS Office of External Affairs
The Cybersecurity Analyst at Empire State Development monitors and supports critical information security infrastructure in collaboration with Security and Network teams. The role involves vulnerability testing, incident response, patch management, security monitoring, and documentation of security systems and procedures. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Albany requiring in-office presence. Key qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT-related discipline with minimum 3 years' experience in related field, or 2-year degree with 5+ years' experience Proficient knowledge of current Information and Cybersecurity Standards and network infrastructure technologies Security certifications (currently held or in progress) Ability to work both independently and in team environments Experience with network security solutions, vulnerability testing, and SIEM monitoring #J-18808-Ljbffr DGS Office of External Affairs
