Radiology Technologist - Diagnostic Radiology

Description Radiology Technologist at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is PerDiem and will work 10‑hour, variable shifts. Under general supervision, operates conventional, fluoroscopic, or portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs of designated body portions, providing assessment and care for infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients according to physician specifications. Assists physicians in carrying out examinations by mixing and preparing contrast media, performing sterile procedures, and related tasks. Qualifications California Radiologic Technologist within 90 days of hire. National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 90 days of hire. National Provider BLS (American Heart Association) upon request. Preferred Qualifications Participation in a continuing education program.
