The Hazzard Law Firm, LLC is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our team and provide substantive support to the Firm's attorneys in family law, personal injury, criminal defense, and other litigation matters.

This position is intended for an experienced legal professional who understands how to help move a case forward-not simply complete individual assignments.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with multiple attorneys and active litigation files. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of assigned responsibilities, follows through without repeated reminders, protects deadlines, communicates effectively, and takes pride in producing excellent work.

Qualifications

Candidates should have:
• At least three (3) years of prior experience in a law office, with litigation experience strongly preferred;
• Experience in family law, personal injury, and/or criminal defense strongly preferred;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills;
• Experience with legal case-management software;
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential matters; and
• A demonstrated history of reliability, accountability, and employment stability.

Experience with Clio or comparable legal case-management software is preferred.
