JOB TITLE: Educational Diagnostician LOCATION: Multiple dynamic locations across Texas, including San Antonio, Austin, Ft. Worth–Dallas, Houston, and surrounding areas. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Utilize diverse assessment instruments to identify students for Special Education Services. Organize assignments efficiently to meet due dates and mandated timelines. Provide consultation to parents and school personnel on students' educational needs. Craft comprehensive Full and Individual Evaluation (FIE) or Review of Existing Evaluation Data (REED) reports. Attend ARD Committee meetings, interpreting evaluation results with precision. Perform additional tasks and duties assigned by AIM leaders. EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of successful teaching in a public or private school setting. Experience in administering and interpreting various psycho‑educational evaluation instruments. EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Master's Degree in education or a related field from an accredited university. Valid Texas teaching certification. Educational Diagnostician Certification by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Completed Texas Examinations of Educator Standards (TExES). COMPETENCIES: Proficiency in Test Kits, Diagnostic Software, and Report Writing. Bilingual. Strong time management and punctuality. Professional email and messaging etiquette. Navigation of Special Education Management Software (eSped/Frontline), Google Workspace, Microsoft Office. COMPENSATION: AIM offers a competitive hourly rate, commensurate with your experience.
