• Ongoing assignment -- scheduled clinical hours plus call
• 5 - 10 patients per shift
• Inpatient rounding -- admissions required
• Beeper call -- 30 min response, ~10% callback rate
• Upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, colonoscopy, EUS, liver biopsy required
• PEG, small bowel biopsy, sigmoidoscopy, Sengstaken tube required
• Lower GI endoscopy required
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
