Job Opportunity – Pediatric Operating Room RN – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, 0700-1730, Monday through Friday with on-call responsibilities including weeknight (1x per week, Monday-Thursday), weekend (1x every 6-8 weekends), and holiday coverage as operationally needed

Highlights:

• Pediatric operating room experience with ambulatory OR and pediatric trauma required
• Kidney transplant experience required for regulatory charting and specialized care
• Epic charting system utilized; experience required
• Magnet-designated Level One Pediatric Trauma Center environment
• Comprehensive orientation with 32 hours of onboarding support
• Two pre-approved time-off periods available during assignment

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state RN license
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• PALS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience within the last 3 years in pediatric OR specialty
• Level I and Level II trauma experience required
• Pediatric OR, ambulatory OR, and pediatric trauma experience required
• Kidney transplant experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must pass pre-employment cardiac telemetry exam with strict passing criteria (80% minimum, 100% on lethal rhythms)
• Must reside 50 miles or more from facility location
• Willingness to float as needed
