RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Interventional Cath Lab RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

4 ten-hour days with 10-11 call shifts per month, including a weekend and holiday rotation.

The Interventional Cath Lab RN will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care in the Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology. This position requires the ability to manage medications and take on the role of circulator and monitor during procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in various cardiac procedures such as peripheral arterial catheterization, PCI, and device placement.
• Monitor patients' vitals and manage medications during procedures.
• Collaborate in a 3-man team consisting of 2 RNs and 1 tech.
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
• Prepare and maintain the lab for daily operations, ensuring all equipment is functional.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Current RN license in the state of West Virginia.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS.
• Experience with IABP and IVUS required.
