As a member of the Lifepoint team, you'll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier.Wilson Immediate Care provides services for a wide variety of needs including care for sudden and ongoing illnesses, minor acute injuries, MRO services, on-site X-Ray and lab services, and more. Our physicians have a combined 80+ years of experience and all are board certified in Internal or Family Medicine.Under the general supervision of the Clinic Manager and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiologic examinations and related procedures. This position requires professionalism, accuracy, and strict confidentiality.Perform diagnostic radiologic examinations using stationary and mobile equipment in department and bedside settingsObtain patient history and assess for contraindicationsReview physician orders for accuracyApply shielding, supportive, and immobilization devicesAdjust and control radiologic equipment to ensure proper ionizing radiation applicationReview images for clinical quality and release patients appropriatelyWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
