As a Dietary Aide, you will assist the kitchen staff in meal preparation, serving the nutritional meal to our residents, while following the residents' food restrictions according to their care plan.Dietary Aide RequirementsPrevious experience in food service, healthcare or hospitality is preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPassion to work with diverse aging populationWillingness to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidaysDietary Aide ResponsibilitiesAssist in preparing, serving, and delivering meals and snacks to residents according to diet ordersSet up meal trays, dining rooms, and food cartsEnsure meals are served at proper temperatures and timelyProvide assistant to residents during meal times as neededWash dishes, utensils, and food service equipmentMaintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areasFollow infection control procedures and maintain a safe working environmentStock supplies, label food items, rotate inventory to ensure freshness and compliance with regulationsWhy Join Lyonsview Health and Rehabilitation Center?We believe in supporting the people who care for our residents every day.
