Allied Technician - Pharmacist

PharmacistThis role entails providing pharmaceutical care in an inpatient setting. The pharmacist will work a variety of shifts primarily consisting of 10-hour days from 0600 to 2200, including weekend and call requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct medication reviews and make recommendations based on patient assessments.Perform medication dispensing and sterile compounding.Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with healthcare teams.Manage medication protocols and dosing regimens.Provide phone triage and patient consultation services.Utilize medication dispensing systems including Pyxis and EHR.QualificationsActive Colorado Pharmacist License.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital pharmacy operations.Experience with sterile compounding.The pharmacist will operate within all hospital service areas, including emergency room, intensive care unit, inpatient, imaging, and hospice services. Regular interaction with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare staff is expected.Shift Details10-hour shifts, variable start and end times between 0600 and 2200.Every other weekend commitment required.Rotation of call responsibilities, approximately one night a week.Continual professional development and orientation will be provided, including department-specific training. Hospital laundered scrubs will be issued to all staff.The ideal candidate will be adaptable, friendly, and dedicated to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care.
