Director of Information Technology

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee network documentation (configuration, domains, software licensing, etc.)
• Assess and make recommendations to improve the Company’s current network security policy, including standards, compliance, and auditing
• Develop and implement IT policy and best practices guides for the organization
• Manage and report on allocation of IT budget
• Develop and manage disaster recovery plan and check lists
• Develop and manage incident response plan and check lists
• Manage backups and disaster recovery testing
• Implement processes/tools to track the Company’s Hardware and software assets
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
• Manage global business systems that serve our manufacturing organization
• Lead the planning, vendor selection, and delivery of major IT projects—including an ERP implementation—owning budget, timeline, change management, and stakeholder alignment
• Provide hands‑on project management for all IT initiatives from kickoff through go‑live and post‑implementation support
• Develop comprehensive Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the business
• Supervise resources providing general desktop/network support, and measure performance against SLAs
• Provide direction and sets priorities for IT team
• Identify opportunities for team training and skills advancement
• Coordinate non‑US service providers for international operations
• Communicate effectively with internal and external business partners
• Manage relationships with external technology suppliers

Who We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, technology, or related field
• 8+ years of progressive experience in information technology, preferably including time as an IT Director, IT Manager, or in a related leadership position
• Demonstrated experience leading system implementations (e.g., ERP or comparable company‑wide platform) from selection through go‑live
• Experience in the manufacturing industry
• Hands‑on experience in computer network, network administration, and installation
• Strong knowledge of technical management and information analysis
• Extensive knowledge of hardware and software systems
• Knowledge of the best practices in the industry
• Strong program & project management skills with the ability to prioritize activities effectively to execute multiple projects in parallel
• Team oriented, with a strong ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment to multiple deadlines
• Excellent time management with an ability to balance multiple projects and timelines and to meet deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communications skills; ability to express ideas clearly and actively listen to others
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Location & Schedule:

This position is onsite in Torrance, CA and the general hours are 7:30am – 4pm but may vary based on global needs.
