Design Engineer

DescriptionThe Design Engineer specializes in fiber network and transport systems with over four years of experience in telecommunications. Responsibilities include planning and documenting OSP/ISP fiber networks, integrating advanced transport technologies like SONET/DWDM, and ensuring compliance with permitting and client standards. Proficiency with GIS and AutoCAD is required, along with expertise in network architecture, splicing schematics, and utility communications projects. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and relevant certifications such as BICSI, RCDD, OSHA 10, AutoCAD Civil 3D, CCNA, and DWDM/SONET OEM training are desirable.
