Principal Software Engineer - Cloud Services (Santa Clara)

You will define how we implement innovative automation and support solutions, enabling teams to operate seamlessly and deliver impact at global scale—all within an encouraging and inclusive environment.What you'll be doing:Great opportunity to join the core group at NVIDIA working to architect and build scalable and distributed NGC Cloud services.Be a technical leader on various projects across the platform, and be a major contributor of the entire platform’s architecture.Influence architecture and technical direction while empowering teams to own detailed design and implementation decisions.Drive operational excellence for secure, scalable secrets management, artifact management.What we need to see:15+ years of experience in distributed systems design and development.Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent experience.You possess advanced programming skills to build scalable backend services and micro services architecture. A specialist programmer in Java, Go and/or C++.Strong technical judgment in secrets management, OCI registry, artifact management at enterprise scale.Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills, you have the ability to work successfully with multi-functional teams, principles and architects and coordinate effectively across organizational boundaries and geographies.A track record of successful technical leadership and large-scale architecture that impacted critical projects.Switch effectively between long-term strategic management and near-term tactical management.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Experience with Large-scale Distributed System and cloud multi-tenancy.Experience with Secrets management, SPIFFE, SPIRE, Supply-chain security, agent/AI platforms and artifact management platforms at enterprise scale.A go getter attitude to investigate and understand technical requirements for open-ended problems.Worked in AI infrastructure, accelerated computing, model distribution, or regulated enterprise software delivery.Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
