Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance MechanicThe Maintenance Mechanic shall have the ability to perform general maintenance and repair of equipment and building requiring practical skill and knowledge in such trades as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry work. Must be flexible.Salary: $30.00 per hour. Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.Repairs and maintenance of:Perform general maintenance on equipment and machineryReplace ballast, electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motorsBasic plumbing, replace flush valve, wax ring, leaks, sinks, etc.Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toiletsPatch minor holes and cracks in walls or ceilings using plaster or compoundPainting of structures and equipmentReplace damaged ceiling and floor tilesRepair doors and install door locksReplace broken window panesPerform other duties as assignedYou Should HaveWhat we are looking for in your resume:High school diploma or equivalentThree (3) years' of experience within the past five (5) years as a Maintenance Mechanic in a commercial or government buildingCFC/EPA certification preferredMust possess ability to identify common causes of building system failuresMust possess ability to conduct routine testing proceduresGood computer skillsMeet project assignments on timeMust possess ability work on several assignments simultaneously and prioritize workEOE, including disability/veteransWhy You'll Love Working With UsComplete Building Services (CBS), a division of The Donohoe Companies, Inc., is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support operations at an office building in Bethesda, Maryland.
