Caregiving ServicesTo provide care giving services and to help clients maintain their independence and to assist them with household and family support services.Reports To: Scheduling CoordinatorPrimary Responsibilities:Companionship & conversationLight HousekeepingHousehold managementErrandsApparel selection (laying out clothes)Meal planning & preparationLaundry & linen changingMedication remindersTransportation using client’s or your own vehicleIn sleep-over or live in situations: prepare client sleeping area at nightDocument activities in the Daily Documentation Log (if applicable).Record daily hours worked and daily services performed on the Weekly Time Sheet, review with client and submit the signed form every Monday by 1:00 p.m.Report any significant client changes to the office immediately.Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Senior Helpers Employee Handbook and Training Manual.Qualifications:Education: High School graduateMust be 18 years of age or overAbility to treat clients with dignity and respectAbility to read, write and speak English at an average adult levelAbility to drive vehicle to get to workValid driver’s license with no serious driving violations; current care insurance.Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations and locationsPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift, push or pull up to 25 poundsAbility to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb stepsAbility to withstand exposure to dust, mold, mildew and cleaning solutionsAbility to adapt to various environments and locationsAbility to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.Senior Helpers reserves the right to modify this description in the future.
