Valley's EPIC residential treatment and housing programs provide compassionate, evidence-based support for adults navigating behavioral health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. As a Shift Lead, you'll play a key role in creating a safe, supportive environment where both clients and staff can thrive. You'll help guide daily operations, coach and support team members, ensure quality care is delivered, and serve as a trusted resource during your assigned shift. Pay: Range starts at $20.65/hour (pay is calculated based on years of related experience)

Shift Differential: Additional $2.25/hour added to base pay for all hours worked

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 10am - 6pm (may vary - weekend & holiday availability as needed)

Job Summary & Deliverables

The Shift Lead supports unit leadership with the supervision of work activities during assigned shifts on a residential or housing unit. The Shift Lead ensures that employees have the resources and support to perform their jobs successfully. The Shift Lead possesses sufficient knowledge and skill in their respective function and utilizes this knowledge and skill to train, coach, and supervise employees. The Shift Lead actively encourages a culture of collaboration and teamwork.

Essential Functions

• Supervises the work activities and expectations of a team during assigned shifts (day, afternoon, night) on a residential or housing unit
• Promotes a culture of strong performance and high morale
• Ensures the completion of operational goals within required timelines
• Ensures employee compliance with company policy, procedure, and operational expectations
• Performs client care responsibilities including targeted case management, medication distribution, client transportation, etc.
• Completes tasks and projects as assigned by Team Lead or Program Manager
• Coordinates with unit leadership to ensure shift coverage; provides on-call coverage as assigned

Requirements:

Experience

• Six months Certified Case experience and/or six months of behavioral health experience

Licenses/Certifications

• CPR certification (post hire as needed)
• Case Manager certification (post hire as needed)
• Driving positions require a current Utah Driver’s license, must be 21

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of behavioral health experience
• One year of supervisory experience
