About the Role Under the direction of the School Director, the preschool floater plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the school. Responsibilities include covering teacher breaks and lunch periods, assisting in classrooms as needed, maintaining a clean and organized environment, preparing classroom materials, and providing support to teachers and children throughout the day. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, energetic, and enjoys working with children of all ages while ensuring a safe, nurturing, and well-organized learning environment.

Education

• 45 DCF Child Care Training Hours

Experience

• Must meetminimum experience and education requirements for the state of employment.

• Previous experience in an early childhood or group care setting is preferred.

Credentials & Licensing

• Must meet allstate licensing qualificationsfor the state of Florida to work in a child care center.

• Ability to obtain and maintain required background clearances and health screenings.

• Flexibility is essential.Schedules may change based on enrollment, staffing ratios, or operational needs.

• Work schedules may vary andare not guaranteed to be eight-hour shifts.
