The Handyman Service Technician is part of the service team that acquires and completes work orders in a timely manner We are looking for a reliable General Skilled Handyman. Prefer two or more years’ experience in light commercial. Will be required to upkeep and repair tasks for interior or exterior of shopping centers, including concrete repairs, demolition and haul offs, asphalt repairs, cleaning facilities, etc. Requires a good understanding of quality finish, construction process and trade knowledge with strong general repair skills. Must be dependable and have reliable transportation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Driver’s License with clean record.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated and stay on task.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Basic math skills, able to read and write and provide written info when needed.
- Attention to detail, complete all work with quality in mind.
- Technical knowledge and strong general repair skills
- Must have own tools.
- Ability to work at heights of 20+ feet.
- Able to lift/carry 25 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. as needed with or without assistance.
