Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient operative experiences for all patients.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
• Assist surgeons and staff with surgical instruments and supplies
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to intraoperative changes
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical or operating room experience
• Broad surgical knowledge across multiple service lines including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma
• Ability to work a variable schedule, including call shifts
• Strong critical thinking and teamwork skills
