Baker and Packager Associate

Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and staying organized? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members by following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure the freshest items are available for customers to take home. You will juggle several tasks in a short time while helping members place their bakery orders. It’s hard work, but our bakery team finds it rewarding, especially as part of a large team committed to delivering happy, satisfied members. What you'll do Be a Team Member: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicate with team members and be flexible to the needs of the business. Be an Expert: Prepare bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes and look‑ups, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for immediate decisions related to production, ordering, training, and quality. Be an Owner: Ensure operational excellence, maintain the work area, uphold quality and date‑control standards, secure fragile merchandise, reduce waste, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by delivering high‑quality service and products to members, modeling excellent service, and exhibiting energy, commitment, and passion. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; utilize the Open Door Policy and apply these in business practices. Complete work assignments using available resources, collaborate with managers and partners, and recommend improvement opportunities. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications None listed. Salary Hourly wage range: $18.00 to $26.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
