Travel Therapy - Physical Therapist

Position Physical Therapist (Travel) – Pooler, Georgia. Job Details Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Location: Pooler, GA (travel) Contract: Long or short term available nationwide Responsibilities Evaluate, develop and implement a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the setting following facility guidelines. Understand and comply with the PT board’s rules and regulations in the respective state. Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment and related use. Use medical center computer systems in performing daily tasks. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist. Ability to stand and walk for long periods; lean, stoop, or bend without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Thorough understanding of billing and regulatory requirements. Pay & Benefits Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
