Your Role as a CT Technologist:

You'll perform high-quality CT scans that assist medical providers in diagnosis and treatment. Your attention to detail and compassionate patient care will be vital in ensuring accuracy, safety, and comfort throughout every procedure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Diagnostic Imaging: Operate CT scanners to obtain detailed images for a range of medical conditions.
• Patient Support: Explain procedures clearly and compassionately; monitor patient well-being and safety during imaging.
• Collaborate with Providers: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other care teams to ensure timely and accurate results.
• Equipment Oversight: Maintain CT equipment and ensure adherence to manufacturer and safety protocols.
• Documentation: Accurately document all procedures and maintain patient records.
• Radiation Safety: Follow all ALARA principles and institutional guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • ARRT (R) certification required.
  • ARRT (CT) preferred or must be obtained within a set period.
  • Louisiana Radiologic Technologist license required.
• Experience: 1+ year in CT preferred, but strong new grads will be considered.
• Other: Current BLS certification required.
