JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: H-MD-134237 Profession: Physician Specialty: Cardiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Murrells Inlet, South Carolina Coverage Period: Nov 09, 2026 - Ongoing Shift Schedule: 7-day block, 7am Monday to 7am Monday Reason for Coverage: Backfill FTE Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 90-100 inpatients per day at Waccamaw; 55-60 per day at Georgetown Case Mix: General cardiology consults, inpatient rounds, TEE, cardioversions, stress test supervision Rounding: Included FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Specialty Backup Available: Interventional Cardiologist for STEMI REQUIRED PROCEDURES TEE Cardioversions Supervise stress tests DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide general cardiology consultations for inpatients at MUSC-Waccamaw. Round on inpatients at MUSC-Waccamaw. Perform TEE, cardioversions, and supervise stress tests. Take call during seven-day coverage period, including night and weekend call at MUSC-Georgetown. Prioritize stress testing on weekends at TGMH over rounds.
