As a Junior Mortgage Loan Originator, you will work directly with prospective homebuyers, develop core sales skills, and train under experienced mortgage leaders while working toward becoming a fully licensed Loan Officer. What You'll Do Speak with inbound and outbound prospects via phone and email to understand their home financing needs Build rapport quickly and guide borrowers through the early stages of the mortgage process Learn how to confidently present mortgage solutions and handle common objections Work closely with leadership and senior Loan Officers to hit individual and team sales goals Maintain accurate and detailed notes in our CRM to ensure an excellent borrower experience What We're Looking For Sales, inside sales, or customer service experience (call center, telemarketing, collections, retail, etc.) Strong communication skills with a professional and confident phone presence Competitive mindset with a desire to learn, improve, and win Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple conversations simultaneously Ability to work onsite full-time in McLean, VA Spanish-speaking ability is a plus Willingness to obtain an NMLS license (training and licensing fully sponsored by Loansteady) No prior mortgage experience required — we train the right people.
