Veterinary Receptionist Department: General Practice Hospitals Location: All Pets Hospital Description Our hospital is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to help provide outstanding patient care and client service in a fast‑paced, multi‑doctor animal hospital. The Veterinary Receptionist is responsible for maintaining front‑of‑house duties, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, maintaining required hospital paperwork, and reviewing invoices or discharge instructions. Clear communication and organizational skills are key for success in this role. Responsibilities Answer phone calls and direct inquiries. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar. Welcome and greet clients and patients. Maintain hospital paperwork and billing records. Review invoices and discharge instructions. Ideal Candidate Demonstrates professionalism, dependability, positive communication skills, and the ability to multi‑task in a hands‑on environment. Energetic people‑and‑pet person with an excellent work ethic and organizational skills. Compassionate and caring toward clients and animals. Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends. Can work individually and as part of a team. Self‑starter who can complete daily tasks without constant direction. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Prior customer service experience. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Regular on‑site presence is required to support patient care and collaborate with clinical teams.
