Program Assistant

Summary Provide administrative support and customer service for designated department management and/or program(s). Support program activities and serve as liaison between program(s) and constituents as directed. Position Details Position Type: Classified Department: COM Medical Education Full or Part Time: Full Time Pay Grade: BW5 Starting Pay Rate Range: $16.42 – $18.43, commensurate with experience Principal Functional Responsibilities Administrative Support: Provide administrative support and customer service for designated department management and/or program(s), including scheduling meetings, preparing meeting agendas, and drafting correspondence. Duties may include serving as a receptionist to greet visitors, answer phones and general office inquiries. Maintain program documentation, files, and records in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. Program Support: Support program activities as requested (i.e., proctoring exams, lectures, departmental events). Serve as liaison between program staff, faculty, students and other applicable constituents. Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 1-year related work experience in an office environment. Experience in higher education.
