Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Basic math skills required to verify product counts, weights, and date codes. Experience Requirements Previous experience in food manufacturing, production, packaging, warehouse, or general labor environments preferred. Experience operating production or packaging equipment is a plus. Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), SQF, USDA, and food safety requirements preferred. Preferred Qualifications Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to follow processes accurately and meet production goals. Dependable, safety-focused, and committed to maintaining a clean work environment. Physical Capabilities Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Comfortable working in various temperature-controlled environments, including freezer, chilled, and hot production areas. Job Duties Follow all workplace safety procedures and food safety regulations. Count, pack, seal, label, and prepare products for shipment. Verify product date codes, weights, and packaging specifications against production schedules. Inspect products to ensure quality, appearance, and customer requirements are met. Transport products between production areas, including chill tanks, freezers, and packaging lines. Assist with palletizing, packaging, and order completion activities. Ensure pouches and packaging materials are properly sealed and secure. Operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
