Job description- responsible for providing timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Open and close bar
- Make and serve drinks
- Cleaning of tables and bar area
- Maintain storage room where alcohol is kept and keep inventory levels
- Restock items when necessary
- Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar & bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
- Display knowledge of all menu items, contents and preparation methods
- Be knowledgeable of hotel property and amenities
Job requirements:
- Previous bartending or training required
- Must be 21 years of age
- Be self motivated and able to work independently
- Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed
- Knowledge of the Micros operating system a plus
- Have working knowledge of beer, wine & liquor and common drink recipes
- Ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight is necessary, up to 40lbs
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Clean background check, and reliable transportation a must
- Must possess excellent guest service and communication skills
- Open availability-this would include evening and weekends
- 1-2 years experience at making craft cocktails
- Bar lead experience would be a plus
