The primary product lines you’ll oversee include our sturdy medical devices, ranging from canes to wheelchairs, in-home hospital beds and everything in between. These products are critical to the lives of our customers and you’ll be a part of leading this team in driving best‑in‑class metrics in Safety, Quality, Service, and of course, our People. Main Activities Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure management’s set goals are met. Assist in developing processes within the shipping dept and monitoring the department’s performance and progress. Responsible for releasing the orders through the VL10G and VLO6P screens and the printing of TO’s. Communicating with the Supply Chain help desk daily to ensure must‑ship or problem orders are taken care of in a timely manner. Monitoring regular reports (examples include but not limited to VLO6O and LT23). Working with the shipping supervisor to ensure all orders are shipped in a timely manner. Check for proper safety measures while working. Develop an attitude of support and foster an environment of continuous improvement. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area. Other duties may be assigned. Your Competencies Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to manage multiple tasks. Required: Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Read and speak English. Basic math skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite, notably Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint. Analytic and proficient with numbers. Excellent communication and follow‑up skills. Preferred But Not Required SAP or Warehouse Management System experience. UPS/FedEx processing/billing type of experience. Your Physical Demands/Work Environment Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met. Physical activity includes walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching above shoulders and lifting up to 50 lbs. Performs activities in a warehouse environment. Salary Range Pursuant to New Jersey law, Drive Medical provides a salary range in job advertisements. The salary range for this role is from $23.40 to $26.00 per hour. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors such as the applicant’s experience, specialization, education, as well as the company’s requirements.
