About our Agency: Our agency opened in 2000 and has grown into a high-energy team of eight who are focused on helping customers protect what matters most. Before becoming an agent, I spent years with State Farm starting in 1988 as a Claims Manager, which gave me a strong foundation in customer care, problem-solving, and leadership.

Insurance truly runs in the family. I'm married, my wife is also a State Farm agent, and our son followed the same path and now has his own agency. That shared experience brings a deep understanding of the business and a strong sense of pride in what we do. I'm also active in the community and serve as Chairman of the Jamaica YMCA, where we focus on supporting youth and strengthening local programs.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide available product information.
• Assist in developing relationships with new and existing customers across multiple product lines.
• Support daily office operations, including documentation, scheduling, and follow-up activities.
• Participate in marketing efforts to promote awareness within the community.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure a consistent customer experience.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve office objectives.

Qualifications:

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in customer service, business support, or insurance preferred.
• Must possess or be able to obtain necessary state insurance licenses.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Compensation: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
