About the Property The Residence Inn by Marriott Berkeley is a 17‑story hotel in downtown Berkeley, CA. It offers 331 suites with fully equipped kitchens, modern amenities, and a rooftop restaurant & bar with views of the Bay Area. The hotel features over 15,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space. Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide a warm, memorable first impression at arrival. Assist with unloading luggage, escort guests to their rooms, and explain hotel amenities. Open doors for guests arriving by car and park or retrieve vehicles as requested. Maintain a clean, organized entrance area and coordinate with other attendants. Offer friendly, helpful assistance and create personalized experiences for all guests. Qualifications At least one year of customer service experience with high guest interaction. Valid driver’s license with no major infractions in the past 6 months. Ability to solve problems on the spot and work effectively in a team. Pleasant and engaging personality with excellent verbal communication skills. Must be able to work full shifts standing, moving between the valet lot and various hotel areas. Strong desire to make a positive impact on people and availability for various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Compensation Base pay: $20.00 per hour.
