Responsibilities Source and purchase materials, parts, equipment, and services to support operations Develop and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors Obtain and analyze quotes, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules Collaborate with operations and scheduling teams to understand material needs Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock without overbuying Prepare and process purchase orders and approve invoices for payment Implement and maintain service contracts Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, lead time, delivery, and cost Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, defective materials, or invoice discrepancies Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information Support cost saving initiatives without compromising quality or lead times Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field Purchasing experience in lieu of a degree Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
