Job Summary Geisinger’s Trauma department is seeking BE/BC Critical Care Trauma Surgeons to join their level one trauma centers in Pennsylvania. Join our team in a fast paced complex environment and have the opportunity to be part of the clinic, OR, Trauma and SICU environment caring for patients and assisting our Surgeons. Job Duties Provide coverage of the trauma service and surgical critical care. Provide coverage of an active emergency general surgery service with dedicated OR time. Assist with patient care in both the inpatient setting and in the trauma/emergency general surgery clinic, working with a team of Physician Assistants. Support a surgical residency program, engaging in resident education and training. Participate in clinical research, teaching residents, and potentially obtaining an academic appointment at the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.
