Baptist Health Care , in partnership with The Andrews Institute and Baptist Medical Group , is actively recruiting an Inpatient Neurosurgeon to support a Level II Trauma Center in Pensacola, Florida .

This opportunity offers a broad, full-service inpatient neurosurgical practice with a strong emphasis on acute care and trauma. The role includes single-hospital coverage, robust APP support, and a sustainable 7 on / 7 off schedule-ideal for neurosurgeons who value decisive, high-acuity clinical work within a well-supported, integrated system. The position is best suited for neurosurgeons seeking meaningful trauma involvement and full-scope inpatient care without the fragmentation of multi-site coverage or heavy elective outpatient demands.

Position Highlights

• 7 days on / 7 days off

• Inpatient only practice

• Level II Trauma Center coverage

• Comprehensive neurosurgical case mix, including:

  • Neurotrauma

  • Cranial emergencies

  • Acute and urgent spinal pathology

• Strong APP support

• Single hospital coverage

Ideal Candidate

• Experienced Physician and Board Certified in Neurosurgery

• Comfortable with acute care neurosurgery and trauma call

• Interested in a full scope inpatient practice rather than elective outpatient surgery

• Team oriented, clinically engaged, and patient focused

Compensation & Benefits

• Guaranteed base salary: $700,000
