School Speech and Language Pathologist | Olympia, Washington

Make an impact on student success by supporting K-12 learners with your expertise in speech-language pathology. This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, and offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week working onsite with students across a caseload of 45-50.


Your role will focus on providing direct and consultative speech and language services, helping students develop communication skills that are crucial for academic and social success. Working onsite, you'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other support staff to ensure every student receives comprehensive, individualized care.


Ideal candidates will bring:

• Hold a current SLP license in Washington State (or willingness to obtain)
• SLP-CCC credentials strongly preferred
• Experience in a school setting and comfort working with K-12 students
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 45-50 students
• Fingerprinting clearance through OSPI (or willingness to complete process)
• Strong collaboration, documentation, and organizational abilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct intervention for speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Document progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with district and state standards
• Consult with classroom teachers, families, and educational teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
• Maintain compliance with OSPI and district policies
