The Experienced Landscaping Maintenance and Lead role involves overseeing and executing landscape maintenance across residential, commercial, and mixed property types. This position requires daily on-site presence to manage routine maintenance tasks, provide landscape design input, and maintain strong client relationships. The lead will manage individual team contributors, ensuring quality work, safety compliance, and effective time management in a demanding outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscapes on residential, commercial, and mixed properties
• Lead and manage individual contributors on the maintenance team
• Operate landscaping and irrigation equipment safely and efficiently
• Manage irrigation systems and perform plant care tasks
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Interact effectively with customers and manage client relationships
• Provide input on landscape design improvements
• Run maintenance routes and solve problems proactively

Required Qualifications

• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Proven experience in plant care and irrigation system management
• Skilled in operating landscaping equipment
• Strong team leadership and time management abilities
• Knowledge of health and safety compliance in outdoor work settings
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
• Authorization to work in the U.S. and California
• Ability to work effectively in heat and outdoor conditions
