Senior Payroll Manager

Carolina PRG is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist on a temporary basi s. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong high volume, multi state payroll experience who is comfortable working through complex payroll issues, performing detailed reconciliations, and identifying opportunities to improve accuracy and processes. The Senior Payroll Specialist will work closely with Payroll, HR, Finance, IT, and external partners to support accurate and timely payroll processing in a complex environment. Responsibilities Manage and review semi monthly and off cycle payroll activities in a high volume, multi state environment Perform detailed payroll audits and reconciliations, research discrepancies, and resolve payroll issues Identify root causes of recurring payroll issues and help implement solutions to improve accuracy Respond to employee questions related to pay, deductions, taxes, timekeeping, garnishments, and other payroll matters Review employee and payroll data changes for accuracy, including tax elections, deductions, garnishments, and other transactions Partner across HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors to troubleshoot issues and support payroll process improvements Maintain payroll procedures and documentation while ensuring compliance with internal controls and applicable regulations Assist with payroll reporting, year end activities, system testing, and special projects as needed Qualifications 4+ years of payroll experience, preferably within a high volume, multi state environment Strong understanding of payroll processing, taxes, deductions, garnishments, reconciliations, and payroll compliance Experience researching and independently resolving complex payroll discrepancies Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within payroll deadlines Experience with payroll audits, controls, and process improvement Strong communication and problem solving skills with the ability to partner across multiple departments #J-18808-Ljbffr CAROLINA PRG
