You will help manage access points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and drivers. By maintaining a visible presence and responding to security-related concerns, you will help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to transportation facility entrances, gates, and restricted areas by verifying credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation. Maintain accurate access-control logs for employees, visitors, drivers, vendors, and deliveries, and report irregularities according to site-specific procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: A guard card or license is preferred. Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
